Who is Jam Hospitality Consultants:
Paul Culbert, the director of Jam Hospitality Consultants has been in the hospitality industry for over 28 years. Paul begun his working life in Hotels at establishments such as Menzies at Rialto, The ANA hotel Gold Coast, Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas, Sheraton Towers Southgate and The Hotel Como.
Paul has also spent many years in five star restaurants in Melbourne gaining skills in fine dining waitering and bars at Chinois and Scusa Mi before moving into a management role at Cecconi’s at Southbank and was part of the team responsible for opening the venue. Paul was the food and beverage manager at Waverley golf club, the manager of cafes in Melbourne’s west and Melbourne CBD and was also responsible for a chain of take away restaurants, BBNT, leading into the stores franchising.
Paul has always had a focus on training and leadership, ensuring quality service, staff management and client expectations are always met.
Paul has spent the last 11 years at food&desire where he started as a casual waiter and soon became the operations manager for several venues. When food&desire grew, so did Paul, taking on the head of operations role overseeing the entire front of house team consisting of 5 managers, 3 supervisors and up to 160 casual and part time staff.
Paul is now the director of Jam Hospitality Consultants, providing the service that will bring your business to greater heights.
